Just saw this on Craigslist, and wouldn't think anything was off except the price is CRAZY high....Probably not stolen just some tool but $1200 for 2 ropes, 3 cams, 3 tricams, 3 Hexs, a pair of shoes, a set of nuts and some misc stuff? WTF - more expensive than new! It's in San Fran (suprise suprise).....
Anyhow here's the link http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/spo/1585200774.html

175m is huge!
Those aren't even boreals! They're anasazis! Haha.
Does look like a fishy add for real. Those draws are pretty dope though.

Kev- Can't you see i am trying to make ends meet!
I rolled some gym climbers at PG. I just needed to check out that 350m of cord myself.
I quickly realized that I have way too many ropes and thus the cragslist add.
If you had answered you phone I would have split the plunder 50/50.
Way to pull food out of my kids mouths,
Dick.

Re: Kev: Stolen gear?: you guys are as#@&%es. not stolen. How dare you. Yeh, I obviously dont "know gear" like you tools. You are all probably a bunch of thick necked bullies. I got into climbing then I was a teenager because I like the serenity and the mountains, but now all the mountains are crawling with jerks like you. Now I am 30, I have better things to do.
Not "more than new". Do you want to see my REI reciepts from like 1997!
F*#k you!

You will become a failure. You will think you are succeeding like Sisyphus, but you will go up and down mountains in utter futility because you believed in the images you saw in magazines and movies.

Nate, if you're for real, there's been a lot of gear theft lately including an entire climbing store cleaned out up in Oregon, so you can undertand why your ad got noticed?
How about something more like "Hi, I'm Nate. I'm legit, used to climb but moved on. Have reciepts. Good luck finding the stolen gear."
See? Much better...

EDIT:
Given that there are 10-15 ropes in my garage, countless pairs of shoes, draws, slings, beaners, 50+ cams, tricams, hexes, and nuts, I think I'll put it and my aid gear on craiglist for 20K. What do you guys think?
wait I forgot the aid gear make that 30K!

Yes, I was 17 when first I bought climbing gear. It was all stolen from me in Portland OR. Then I worked really hard to build up another rack so I could keep climbing. That is the rack and ropes that I have for sale on craigslist today. I worked hard for my money and I used it it chase my dreams, just like all of you. Its really annoying to be accused of stealing. Im sure you guys all have a really good reason to jump to conclusions like that, but this time you were wrong.
Some of you are right though and thank you for the input, i will be sure to edit my ad on craigslist and lower the price. Do you think $700 or $800 is a better price for the "kit and kaboodle"
What is a good price for that many hours of working in a movie theater in my hometown?

The BD nut set says 00 to 10 making eleven total. my bad. The slippers are five.ten not boreals, they are euro 44s, a pinch too tight compared to my boreals which I intend to keep.
of course the ropes are 70m. 175mm is a crank arm length.
the price is always negotiable.

Mucci,
I think crank arm length might be the length of a crank arm for a bike. 175mm = 17.5 cm = (about) 7 inches?
Given the gibberish speak I'm wondering if nav4blk is off his meds again....
