Right now there is an Ebay Auction for the Tyrus Bachar Living Trust in memory of his loving father John M. Bachar III. John's close friends and family wish to insure the health, education and well being of Tyrus Bachar.

There is a lot of brand new great gear. There are also some collector edition books that were signed by over 20 famous climbers at John Bachar's memorial on July 27
Most of the items are starting at a fraction of retail value (sometimes $0.99). So there might be some great deals. However, i am hoping the deals are not TOO GOOD as all the money goes to a great cause.

Hi, new here, but I was in awe of John Bachar and all the stonemasters back in my climbing daze, which I hope to return to someday. These heroes have been a source of inspiration throughout my life. I bid on several of the books, which were of most interest, but all it served to do was bump up the price - there were higher 'reserve' bids. Oh well, raises more money.

REALLY COOOL Chris, so glad this was such a success. I'm working on some other stuff that will also get some money into the fund for Tyrus. It is really good to belong to such a tight and supportive group, climbers.....are the best when it comes to helping supports our "own". Thanks for all you've done!
