There is a slight chance that Yellow Pines Campground will not be dry enough to open by May 19, 2018. If you have already requested camping for this event, there is an alternative site we have available. Those people on the list will need to email me and provide an email that I can send you directions.

If we cannot get Yellow Pines I will send out directions next week to the alternate site.

Tad will keep that tight to only those with reservations out of respect to privacy for the generous person helping out if needed. I will send out directions ONLY if the site changes. Yes, have you and Brian in. Thanks for bringing him.

As said on the other thread....I am helping with this...make sure Dale Bard, Dave Digelman Ken Yeager and Harrison Hood get some thanks as well. Thank you all for your thanks, I greatly appreciate it, but I want to make sure others get thanked as well.
It will be a great gathering in a place we all love. Look forward to seeing and meeting everyone.
Jim and I were very close and this is the LEAST I can do for our friendship.

This will go regardless of weather. Heck most of us have spent many rainy days in Yosemite....it has its beauty even in the rain.

Hopefully the LAST bump. I still need emails from people that have reserved a space to camp to get alternative site info to you. I will have directions at the memorial if it changes from Yellow Pines and We can't get in touch before hand.

GREAT NEWS!!
The Park Service busted their buns to get Yellow Pines cleared enough to be able to host all of us! A huge thanks to them for ALL their efforts. Camping will go as Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday nights.
Ken Yeager has been instrumental in helping monitor and facilitating this to happen, please look him up and give him a big thanks as well.
Harrison Hood will be in charge of the camp ground...he too should be given big thanks, he has lots of experience from past FaceLifts.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was facelift that bought climbers some goodwill with the park. Hats off to Ken for that.
