Yep,
Tommy and Dave are doing a fine job leading The Wamp up the Big Stone. Looking forward to hearing the spray in person from them and also from Steve as he is probably getting schooled on his first exposure to climbing. That's pretty amaizing that Steve is up there doing what we all love to do. The whole team is working hard for Steve and deserve recognition for getting him up and down safely while filming all along the way. That's pretty dang cool too!
Good on ya,
Museman

I think it is amazing that Tommy (T2) and Steve have teamed up to make this whole thing happen! I met Tommy Thompson just shy of a year ago and he has pulled me out of a 10 year hiatus from climbing and has allowed me to reprioritize my life. It does not surprise me at all that he has been a big part of making this happen for Steve and his wonderful foundation. Thank you T2 for helping me find my climbing mojo again and changing my life and the lives of so many others!

Congrats Steve and crew!! I had the opportunity to work with Steve and his Camp WAMP kids 4 summers ago when I was working for the Yosemite Insitute. Mark Wellman joined us thanks to DSUSA and we hosted Steve's Camp WAMP kids to a day of rock climbing/ascending with the help of Dave from the Yosemite Mountain School. The next day Mark led the kids on handcycles through the Valley with me biking behind taking photos and handing out bandaids. The camp was based out of the Crane Flats YI site and the rest of the week included a trip to Glacer Point, Tori and her Bears presentation, camping out, and more. You Rock Steve! I am so happy that you are continuing to inspire others with your adventures and provide meaningful outdoor experiences for the kids who attend your camps!

Great photo Chris!
This was one hell of an adventure. Thanks for all the kind words and support from everyone. The first thing I want to say is that the Wamp is one tuff mofo. It was a complete honor for me to be part of this project on so many different levels. First and foremost for the foundation I hope that this rises enough awareness to get enough grants and donations for the camp to live forever. I am sure everyone here at supertopo can appreciate what Steve's foundation is giving away. Working with everyone from the Wampler camp, Trans Global and Corey Rich productions was a pure treat. Logistically speaking this was a huge ordeal and as far as I am concerned everything went exceptionally well. Tommy Baynard (Trans Global) is the one who brought this crew together, Tbone Your the MAN! Dave Lane I love you like a brother man! I am not sure I would have taken on this project with out you bro Thanks!
I am resting in Reno visiting family right now but will be back in the valley Thursday and looking forward to more of what is a beautiful fall season for climbing in the Valley.
Gorgy thank you for your nice words. I look forward to sharing an adventure on the Captain with you next week, Be carefull for what you ask for :) Uva no front door yet? When I get back I will put some hinges on that plywood so it swings for you and you don't have to un screw it everytime. hehe
See you all at the face lift in a couple days.
Best Regards
T2

hey!
I just watched your documentary on your successful job climbing El Cap! I just want to say that now, seven years later, you're heart and drive still inspires me to accomplish anything! I was even inspired to start rock climbing and soon climb El Capitan! I can't wait to climb the same mountain that all the greats have climbed (including you!)!! Thank you.
