I appreciate the honesty about the details of their ascent. It makes me respect them and their climbing more.

Great job on the ‘princess cruise’. Freeing El Cap is one of the most amazing things people can do.

Nice work, ladies. No doubt they chose Mikey because of his Long Dong. Ask him to show it to you sometime...

Gene, the joke is that a "Long Dong" is a type of piton.

Wow. Fishing is easy here lately.
A Long Dong is a #9 Lost Arrow pin, but that's not what Mike uses. He has a short cheat-stick wrapped in white tape that has a carabiner on each end, which he calls his Long Dong. And since he is only about 5'4", we let him get away with using it every now and then.

Incredible to behold for those of us women who were climbing 45-50 years ago. We used to think that banging out pitons as a second, took a lot of strength! What a fantastic legacy! And I hope you have some more great climbs in your near future.
CONGRATULATIONS!

I remember when the NIAD was first being done by guys and then guys with girls/women.
I said to the women: Now an all woman team needs to go and Nancy and Sue answered the call.
Now .... it's all woman on the Freerider climbing free.
Awesome going and a big high five .......
