It has taken me a few days to put aside grief and come up with something worthwhile to do for John's son. So here it is...
In preparation for the shows I was doing with John Bachar I had Phil Bard scan the image he took of John free-soloing Crack-A-Go-Go. The scan came in at 500+ Mb! so you know it was ultra-tight. I then printed them as 18" x 24" offset prints. We had them at the Golden and Durango shows and they sold very well.
Now I want to help Tyrus out by selling the rest at the same price (plus a couple of bucks for shipping) we did at the shows but donating the net proceeds to the Tyrus Bachar Trust as set up by Jim Moss.
This is an economical way to help John's son AND get a nice poster in exchange. Once these are gone I will not be printing more.
The pricing, INCLUDING USA shipping is $17. You can find them on my store:

I just heard from the photographer, Phil Bard... He is willing to sign the posters if you want. This will not change the price and it is not necessary. If you want it, great... if not, no big deal.
For those who have already ordered posters I will contact you to find out your wishes. For those of you who WANT IT SIGNED, please indicate on your oder.
In case it is not obvious from this post, I live near Phil so getting these signed is easy enough.

If you are OUTSIDE the USA...
I am getting enquiries from outside the USA so here's the plan.
1. Send me a note through the store or direct through simon (at)vershke(dot)com indicating WHERE you need it shipped.
2, I will research the shipping options and report back to you.
3. I STRONGLY suggest you get together with a few friends for your order. I would bet I can send 15-20 posters overseas for the same price as one so why not spread the shipping cost between your friends?
Any questions... just let me know!

No, PayPal is NOT required. In fact, I prefer NOT to do PP.
I use FirstData Corp for my credit card processing. They are the largest in the world and have the highest security rating. They supply CC processing for all major global corporations so you can feel very secure with them. All you need is a debit/CC. And, of course, I NEVER see any of your personal CC data.
If you prefer a check, let me know and I can tell you the mailing address.

just bought 3 -- w/o the paypal option. went straight credit card route, easy and done with confidence.
given the option, i would have chosen the print without the BACHAR text part -- as me and my 2 pals who will get one for Xmas know precisely who _that_ guy is. as i suspect people will for many generations.
good idea. that one next small thing. another arrow aimed towards the big target...

Paul, check your e-mail (or write me directly) simon(at)vershke(dot)com
EDIT:
As I wrote to Paul I decided I should let everyone know in case the question came up again (it already has a few times.)
For additional fund donations or donations without a poster please use the Tyrus Fund information found on this thread:
http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.html?topic_id=904291[/b]
If you want to make a small donation and get a poster then use this link:
