Yeah, any of you Bay area dads ( as Close as say Bakersfield or Winnemucca) should consider this. There are a lot of eccentric performing climbers, out there, but the Colonel "will always be Frank."™ There are stories I cannot share, only he might know where the bodies are buried and which statutes eventually run out... As Dogtown alludes, he won't lead you astray, but you won't forget the ride!
Also, even though I have AM, And PM IEP, meetings that next thursday, punctuating my work day, I am looking for a ride from the east Bay ( I won't have Wheels that night) I have gas $ and a fastpass!.

To be On topic, Frank has as many stories/TR's as Carter has Pills;
Second? ascent of the Window A-4, Deto, fa R Robbins 1964.
I chickened out @ the roof, when I went to try it. Something about the line of friend cable sized swage, alumaheads, did not inspire confidene.
I wasn't there, but I know Frank did that route; apparently he took the scary lead as normal...
He also did the 2nd ascent of some horse chute variation.
16 ascents of the Cap'n in a single (extened) season.
A sub three hour marathon, accidently trundling a refrigerator of a bely on Russian Arete, in the Black, an early ascent of Primrose ( I think) , prolly more first asents of Deto than anyone. and that's just the climbing....
