It's unbelievable how much it has grown in four years. I expect about 2,000 people will show up this year. The Facelift is now a National Public Lands Day event, a California Coastal Commission Cleanup event, and the largest Access Fund Adopt-A-Crag event in the country. We are going to have a small weigh-in station in Tuolumne Meadows this year. Raffle prizes are coming in rapidly and special thanks to Fattrad who is the only individual to donate raffle prizes. See you all there and thank you all for making it happen.

P.S. Camping is nearly filled up.

I have 30 official for sushi on Tuesday the 25th. Well.... that's not counting Werner or #46. There's still room for another 10 at least.

Doug, please let us know what help you'll need getting set up on the afternoon of the 25th, during the sushifest, and afterward. Hopefully we can share the load amongst those present - I'm guessing there'll be lots of things to do.

Werner is going to bring the BBQ over for the non-sushi people. Do you need charcoal? I might be able to bring some firewood if I have the time.

Not many cows around here. Some of the recent bear droppings look like Duraflame logs.

Perhaps those who want to barbeque on the 25th should be responsible for providing the charcoal. I believe charcoal can be bought at the village store, if nothing else. Maybe we can spring for a bag or two of "seed" charcoal. I gather it's a pretty big unit - we don't have to use the whole thing, but it ain't no hibachi, and may take a fair amount of feedstock to work well.

Those SuperTopians who like things that go bang can take care of igniting the BBQ.

The BBQ has to be towed by a vehicle. It is ample to fill your needs. Bachar, you going to make it?

Yeah, sounds scary to me too. Will JB have to make the BBQ? Or is he going to fill it? With all the spontaneous combusters on SuperTopo, it seems unnecessary.

Anders: other than some help doing the dishes afterwards I'll probably be covered. I'm hoping my homeboys from Flagpole will help with the setup. IF not, one or two bodies is all that is really required. If I have the count correct we have 4 able sushichefs. It's a pretty easy one night deal for me.

Sorry Fattrad, I didn't know you wanted it kept secret. I was planning on announcing it with sponsor acknowledgments during the reception anyway and I will be able to tell who you are by your red face. Thanks for your contribution.
