Raytheon is true John He's an ace C software programmer for the company.
Death rays from space hahahaha.
I have his email address if you want it (PM me for it), and he used to come up and visit until about 4 years ago or so.
The last time he was here was in a late Oct. a few years back and bear broke his drivers window and chewed his front seat out in the middle where you sit your ass.
The seat spring was sticking up out of the center of his drivers seat and I just couldn't stop laughing my ass off because it was so funny looking.
He was royally pissed of course since he had nothing in the car at all. He left that morning I think sitting on that seat somehow trying to avoid that fuking spring going up his ass.
He really still can't walk farther than a hundred yards without pain. He's had a bad back for over 25 years now and has been unable to do anything active.

Wow, crazy. I ran into Cochrane a few weeks ago. He said he saw Klemens in L.A. recently but had no idea what he was doing...wouldn't mind popping him an email!

Seeing the photo of Mark Chapman in another thread spurred me in to looking for and bumping this thread. I hope Mark K. is doing well.
Man, last post from Bachar. Time's arrow is a bitch.

eKat: Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that it was Bachar's last post, just that the previous post in this thread was from Bachar back when he was alive. I didn't write it well. I was getting maudlin being reminded of Bachar (never met him, though) and then just thinking about the Pollock brothers, both now gone for years (10+ in Matt's case).

Mark is living near LAX. He's had back problems for years and doesn't climb any more. When it came to wide....he was the MAN!
