Yah, pick up the book. The quality is amazing, and the paper just seems to bring out the chrome in the prints. Well worth the price .

I got the book. Worth it.
Not much writing, but to capture a moment in time is difficult and pictures are rare.
Like "Yosemite Climber" in a way. Keep it, you won't regret it.

Glen Denny has an incredible eye. These are great images. I didn't realize his talent until now. He is kind of a cross between Ansel Adams and Galen Rowell, although obviously he was doing quite well before Galen's talent took off. Very nice.

Tom Frost and Glen Denny were the two most prolific and gifted photographers of their generation. Galen later became a lovely author of scenic portraits largely, and some good climbing shots. One of his best is of Kor finishing the Salathe Wall. Kor was one of the most photogenic individuals I've ever known. I have had the personal privilege of perusing all of Tom's work, negative by negative and print by print. You can't imagine how many shots he took through the years, much less the golden 1960s, an endless collection almost, a book dedicated to which has been long overdue. I did the best I could to put some of Tom's classic shots in my Robbins bio, but he could easily do a book of 500 shots, with plenty of great ones he would have to leave out. Denny is much the same, a genius, a sensitive artist I personally have admired for years. I am grateful to the publishers for having the vision to put out some of Glen's masterpieces.
