What is the deal?
Doesn't anybody play poker anymore?
Seems like it's getting harder and harder these days to get a good poker game together.
All my buddies have to ask their wives for permission!
What's wrong with playin a little 5 card stud, drinkin' a beer and smokin' a stogie?
I say sack up and belly up! Wimps!
Now deal them cards!

I played Texas hold 'em for years before it became so popular,
now I prefer straight poker...but I'll play anything.

Poker? Bring your wallet.... Did a 3x a week home game in Bishop for years with FREE open bar and BBQ everynight at the FISH Casino in Round Valley.
Find some sheep that need a good shearing and lets make it happen.... I can't do it more than 5 nights a week though.

Maybe they saw that photoshopped picture of you in leather on the web and figured that five card stud meant some kind of strip poker.

No shrimps (except my bankroll) but we usually have enough Swedish Fish to give you nice red and runny stool the next day....
Actually the booze is fortified so you get more than you pay for, and even at free, that is a pretty good deal.

I'm down. Take my money. (like I/we need to give Fish more of our hard earned money). I just aquired a set of chips for road trips.
(there was an echo in here)
My neighbors do a "deal calls" game once a week. Omaha, murder and 357 are the favorites there. Stud would be fun.
Another neighbor does a NL tourney once a week.
I play poker more online than anthing. hold'em and omaha.
The Dr. and I threw down a game at the creek a few weeks ago.

Homegames are easy places to make money. Keep working at it Shack and you'll find yourself broke soon enough. If you want more help check out some of Sklansky's books as well as Hellmuth's. Also make sure you read the Bible...Super Systems.

I only use a system when I'm playing Blackjack...
Poker I just wing it on instinct!
Besides James...I figure there's no way Russ can take my money at poker faster than he does when I buy his gear!

Walling knows nothin' about poker, didn't you check out his reading list?
He just finished Positively Fifth Street, which is about a stripper and her boyfriend pumping a rich guy's stomach full of heroin with a turkey baster and then looting his vault when he croaks. No gambling involved there...unless you get caught.
So shuffle them cards and don't worry about a thing, unless your drink comes in a big tube with a squeeze bulb at one end.

Very funny Karl! But seriously...
I don't know how that picture ever got out.
I was testing an early prototype "full body harness" from FISH™ Leather™ Products™ Inc. and Russ assured me that the pictures were only for "in house" use?... Whatever that means?
BTW, I have a feeling whoever leaked that photo was the same wiseguy who leaked those photo's of you with an afro!
Was that picture from college?
