it's electromagnetic static and solar wind blowing off from the superheated mussy nebula, triggering unusual levels of sunspot activity from our own sun which then messes up the inTARDweb transmissions and HTML configurations.
pretty simple stuff, really.

hey roy, you should create a header of links to all the other mussy installments, i went back and looked at a couple last night, they're a crackup.
the best part of all this is i'm getting all these dope photos PS'd and on my HD...safe and sound for posterity...and available for immediate deployment back into the 'neb at a moment's notice....

Roger Dodger Mission Control: we need archival lock down.
Place in Zircon Encrusted Secure Vault, Slam Tight and Don't Get your Fingers Pinched!
I will tag the headers after a bit:
(too busy with billable hours here now-yo)

luv too, but my scanner died today. buying a new, improved one tommorow a.m.
spent three hours over three days trying to get it to scan slides...loaded and unloaded the software 20 times...got so pissed i punched it, and shattered the glass scanning platen.
until then i'm in suspended animation.
but as for the scanner? swear to god, i've seen "office space" a hundred times, and i'm gonna do this:
"god DAMN it feels good to be a gangsta..."

Linky . . . linky . . . don't forget :-))
Rmuir has been good about linking all the Stonemaster threads (must be the archival librarian in him).
It is just as important to link all the Mussy Nebula so we all have a cyber bread crumb trail to the scene of the original SuperNova, or so we can follow how the crime unfolded, however you want to think about it ;-)

For photo needs (scanners, etc) I STRONGLY recommend KEH of Atlanta. They are truly badass. I got my nikon body and a nikon 20-80, new, for less than I could find just the body after months of internet surfing. They threw in an extra five year nikon warranty and a polarizer and strap to boot.
As for used stuff, they are the only place I would go for used gear. They are licenced warranty centers for all sorts of manufacturers, and they take apart and clean everything before they sell it, and then list the condition (97% etc). On their used stuff, the prices are ridiculous.

thanks for the advice, but i need something cheap, fast, and NOW. in about ten minutes i'm throwing my little six-year-old princess in the car, stoppin' at Late For The Train for a triple 'spro, then bustin' a big move down to staples where i'll take pot luck with the scanners on the shelf.
Since i'm running an HPf1904b Media Center PC, i guess maybe i'll buy an HP scanner if one looks good. i've gotten killer customer support with this pc, and i suppose it makes sense to be running the same brand with my peripherals?
i paid about 100 bucks for the scanner i smashed last night and got three good years of use out of it, so wtf.

My HP flat-bed scanner works fine, but I need something for positives - 35mm slides to 5" x 7" (for serious stuff I will always use film not digital - love Fuji Velvia). Check-out B&H in New York, if you don't have to get it immediatley, many amatuers and pros use B&H. They have wonderful prices, support, and full warranties. Hopefully I will purchase soon. Need to do a little research first. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/
Wife and I just got our first digital camera. Uh, oh. Watch out. A friend of ours did all the research and we just followed his lead. Great little camera with a lot of big-size features and nice res. I would prefer NIKON (what I use) but this one is nice: Canon PowerShot SD550 7.1MPixels
