the above link is to a posting on a somewhat liberal blog by a woman who appears to be a pro-choice activist. in the post, she has entered a letter that she wrote to her mother(i think?), attempting to dispute and debunk some of the myths and misinformation that the anti-abortion lobby has managed to press into the vocabulary of the ongoing national debate.

in particular, the post contains a significant amount of technical information regarding so-called "partial birth abortions".

given that there are so many opinions on the matter of abortion in the other thread, i suggest reading the post at the link above, in the interest of furthering one's own understanding of the (so called) issues.
