Well done! Right to the point, and easy and fun to read.
I would be happy to host that page for you if you can send me the HTML and the pics.
Curious: did you post this somewhere other than Supertopo? Supertopo threads get a ton of hits;
you should see my weblogs for the pics I hotlink here on my web-host.
(as in many hundreds to thousands of hits per day)
Now imagine posting that link to a place like RC.com that boasts 50,000 hits a day...
When your host has strict traffic limits, it's a good idea to keep the image file-sizes as small as possible.
Your page was around 1 MB, which seems way too big for the content of the page.
Those pics were pretty small, and I would expect the page to total less than 300 KB if the
images were optimized for the web. Plus such a page will load a lot faster for us lowly dial-up users.
