Ron A. Your arguments are lame. And speaking of racist...

We, the US, had our throats cut by Bush/Cheney/&co. No matter who got elected it was going to take a while to stop the bleeding. It's a credit to this country and Obama that "we're" still alive. Most of my friends in Europe were predicting the fall of the american empire. Some still think it'll happen with a couple decades. They just have to point to the massive political divisions here as a good indication that we're focked.

When you say Obama's not your president, are you saying you're not american? Sounds like it to me.

Why do you pathetic wankers clutter our climbing forum AGAIN AND AGAIN with this crap?

Will you please go away? Find somewhere else to post, like a political forum or something?

Please?

Yeah, Lynne what PC said, this is not a matter of name calling but calling for justice, Bush 2 has a lot of Crimes to answer for, as PC points out. Are there any of us who weren't affected negatively by his malfeasance?

Ron, No hypocrisy at all. Bush was my president even though I didn't vote for him. I just really wish he had done better. Every time he had a hill to climb, I rooted for him and the US. He was just the wrong man at the wrong time.

Am I totally satisfied with Obama? Nope. He's got lots of room for improvement. I'm sure rooting for him too though.

Rather than looking at the very few things we disagree on, why not list a few things we have in common? I'll bet there are a few.

1. I like to climb
2. I like the Taco
3. I don't like the Man. I wish he was almost invisible and would get the hell out of the way.
4. I'm super proud of what my Dad did in World War II
5. I had 3 brothers drafted to Vietnam
6. I want a good education for my kids and a decent chance at as good a life as I've had.

you?

I'm as big a Bush-hater as the next real American, but is this thread really necessary? There are already several poli-tard threads on the front page right now....how about a little respect for others, and use an existing thread?

Who said anything about balloon boy, Skip? Unless you are using that name as a metaphor for Shrub, which kind of fits: sitting inside a mylar bubble, floating above the country, completely out of touch...

We've always had climbing rednecks, I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise to find that some percentage of racists climb as well.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

Though, in Krusty's case, I'm not sure who is pulling the strings.

Hey I think Muslims are alright.

Edit: And Obama's not a muslim, because if he was he wouldn't have gotten elected and two, he would have probably admitted it.

Spread wealth to AIG CEOs and no bid contractors (Dubai based, of course), right?

Let's not even get into those spreading the wealth to those socialist state, county, and fed jobs at this point, eh? I know who signs my paycheck, who signs yours?
