Got to the bridge a bit after you left yesterday. Watched Josh on Mescalito for a while. He was moving pretty fast. Looked like a lot of fun!

I'm curious about the rumored high temps on the SW face, at least about how far up they go. I did the Nose in early July of '87, and up to Camp 4 it was pretty damn hot. After that it was breezy and pleasant. We had the whole route to ourselves, too. Do people usually suffer a lot from the heat when more than half way up, or are the breezy pleasant conditions we had more normal?
