Does anyone out in ST land have access to this short film about clean climbing history? I have seen it and am trying to secure a copy. The original release information from Climbing #43 July August 1977.

Sorry Steve, all I've got is this photo I took. That's an Englishwoman leading the route that goes out around the left corner. She placed about three pieces, and ran out a slightly ascending traverse a good sixty feet. Her partner was her nine or ten year old offspring. With a huge loop of slack, and her around the corner at the belay, the little guy gets the last piece out and starts to whine"mummy......I can't do this mummy....mummy?" I thought I was going to see the pendulum from hell, but,to his credit, the little fellow pulled the move.

We were on Right Wall and you'll never guess what happened next.....it started to rain.....lol.

How much Jeremy?!

It's Spiral Stairs. V.Diff, or about 5.4, but it's in a great position and not a route to fall off. It starts at the same point as Left Wall but traverses out left as Tomcat says.

Best picture I could find:

In 1984 I led that route with Charlie Fowler, in the
rain. It was wet and slipper, and Charlie following
said he thought it was something like 5.12. That is one
of my best memories of climbing in Wales.

Steve I think I have the movie somewhere among my things,
but I'm not sure it would be easy to find right at the moment.
The person to contact might be Henry...

I am chasing Ed's lead at the moment but would greatly appreciate a copy if you could unearth it. I would be happy to buy it from you if you are off loading stuff at the moment. The film is singular in its content. Let me know if you have any luck!
