Check out the post "toproping in tuolumne/ yosemite". I gave some info on camping near the Meadows, and real closr to Lee Vining.
The stay in the Meadows/ Valley is two weeks! If you have two people with diferent last names you can use different names for each reservation! If you know when you are going, make your reservations today! Also check out hte lee vining camping, I have found some of my most relaxing nights there, and its not too bad of a drive back to the meadows. Lee vining has restaraunts, bars, gas and just about any thing you need!

as far as I know 420 refers to pot! so 420/24/7 tells me you are always stoned... no problem here, but dont get busted in Yosemite.... see "high end taquila"... and keep the stash stashed

Hey 420/24/7,

Based on your questions I think you're going to be a bit disappointed. There really aren't any secret or even preferred spots that are especially nicer than other spots. It's not like J-Tree. I'm sure a bunch of people will now post their disagreements but in my opinion...the truth is that unless you go back country, the camping in Yosemite National park(including Tuolumne) tends to be very crowded, noisy and your options are truly limited. Yosemite is at once both the very best and the very worst of the National Parks. That said...do be prepared to be absolutely blown away by the rock all around you. That's why you're going right? I'd start worrying less about the camp sites and more about how do deal with the amount of world class climbing you're going to have access to.
