Snow on the descent, ski tracks going down the 5.8 on Hogsback on Sunday. No ice. All the approach gullies were filled with snow, and some snow on ledges. The steeper slabs (like Dancin' Feet on Hogsback) had avalanched off.

drove by it today to and from the loaf, still snow on the approach and descent, but if you were motivated you could climb on dry rock in the afternoon in the sun on alot of routes and have the place to yourself.

Don't do mattress people action but I would think your pad would get way wet quck. Standing at the base of any wall 500' + high is kinda asking for something to fall on you at any time of year and I don't know if a helmet is enough protection for something falling from the top. Snowshoes are for christmas card photos, if needed I'd ski, but this time of year just a pair of gaitors and post hole, it builds character.

Here is a link to the weather in Strawberry as well as a local webcam:

Also, you could call the Strawberry lodge for snow conditions.

Have fun!
