I just added some more topos to the obscurities page:

http://www.supertopo.com/topos/yosemite/obscurities.html

They include a topo from John Middendorf of the Great Trango Tower Grand Voyage route: http://www.supertopo.com/topos/obscurities/trango-grand-voyage.jpg

Two topos that John mailed me of mysterious old El Cap routes:
Verano Magico and Mediterraneo:

The free topo for the Grapevine Buttress in the Grand Canyon made by Beth Rodden and Tommy Caldwell: http://www.supertopo.com/topos/obscurities/grand-canyon-grapevine.jpg

And some routes on the Seven Gables in the High Sierra:

You know what I like about CMAC. He sits back responsibly monitoring his ST creation, and instead of firing off a rant of his own, he simply contributes with climbing related threads which sends a much stronger message. However, I would love to know what he really thinks about the direction SupTopo has taken.

what is up? nature used to have a mullet, paris hilton is going to be vice president, some guy at a party tried to get with some other dude's wife, and everyone is listening to music.

and jody is a camp host now

that's what i gather from my skimming of the OT posts.

p.s. the only OT threads that really are getting excessive are the political ones. most of the others are tangentially related to climbing so not so bad.

I like the re-cap of the off topic threads! Maybe someone should do that once a week. Those people like me that just read the climbing stuff can get just the right dose of slander summary.

Yeah, John Middendorf hooked me up with tons of topos and notes from the valley. On the first pass through i just grabbed the stuff that i hadn't seen published before. ill post some more once i get psyched to sit in front of the scanner again.

I dig the old style of topo where you actually see the whole formation. If i were a better artist i would do that next to each detailed topo.
