At this point in the year it is time to give the tendons in the fingers a break, as well as all those obscure little muscle groups that get taxed only when on the rock (ie- serratus anterior- scapula destabilized anyone?). Time to start waxing the skis and boards. Let it SNOW!

However, the time off the rock can only last so long! In California we are blessed with Mammoth right next to Bishop- so you can ride one day and climb the next. Any other destinations out there like this?

Donner Summit is about 2 minutes from Sugar Bowl. Hell you could climb a cliff, then turnaround a boost big air off it to the pow below.
