Hey roger, actually he is using the S.O.D. personal security system. It's common in cartoons, made for TV movies and certain un-named climbing films.
S.O.D. can be yours for only $299.99 - just send a check or money order to me... just mention that you want the suspension of disbelief package and I'll get it in the mail!
