10 years ago? You sure about that? Now you're going to make me go home and look.
Can't be that long ago.....if so, I'm old!!!
I always loved that cover. At the time I knew girls that didn't like it as it exploited women. Good grief!! I think the shot is hot and she's beautiful.
Quite possibly one of my favorites. Corey Rich photo I believe.

I don't really see it as exploiting women. Female climbers frequently dressed that way, just as now they wear tiny sports tops and low-rise pants, which ends up giving a fair amount of T-time (thong showing)...
What do people expect of them? Should they wear a pair of sweats just because they are going to be photographed? Maybe they shouldn't be photographed at all? Maybe the ripped guys on the covers/ads are also being "exploited"? People whine about too much sh#t these days. These people are on the covers because they want to be.
It is a HOT cover! Thanks, Jerry!

I remember glueing the cover of that magazine to the wall inside the Lovers Leap bathroom.
Where it stayed all season without so much as an attempt to scrape it off.
Someone removed it over the winter months.
