I first went to shuangqiao in 05 when it was sometimes a 2 day thing to get there. Heard there were some other round eyes in the valley, later to find it was Guy Lacelle and Craig Luebben. They put up a M10 route called Rastafarice that was cutting edge stuff back then. As far as I know was never repeated properly before the 08 Wenchuan quake shifted the feed and it doesn't really form now.

These days its a top rope fest for shanghai wannabes, Kailas basically sponsors the entire valley and bombs it with logos. New road makes it just 4hrs from chengdu.
