All my ropes took a major beating this fall and I'm in the market for another lead rope and haul line for the spring season. I was wondering what specific ropes people like for Grade VI aid walls

Don't know really. But as a bigger guy (tall) I like big ropes. Half a mile off the deck and jugging those ropes they look skinny and all edges look sharp...my 2 cents. 60 meters please, no more.

Sterling Marathon Pro 10.1mm 60m. I’m a big guy and won’t go thinner than that. 38% sheath. Wears like iron. Free juggng wish it was 11mm!

ideally I was thinking a 11mm 70m, I had a core shot on both my 9.5mm haul line and a 10.5mm I was jugging recently, so I was thinking the beefier the better, if not just for piece of mind, for longevity, I plan on doing a bunch of walls this year. The problem is I can't find one. I'm trying to find somewhere I can custom order one. Are there any down sides? Of course weight but 11mm still is in the optimal range for jumars and gri gris right?

I used Mammut 11mm BITD just because they were hefty and burly. I did buy one of those Yates 70m wall ropes and it seems really good in terms of beefiness; I have yet to climb a wall with it. But I did take it to the Gunks a couple of times and it was way too much for cragging.

I have been using Beal Unicore for peace of mind. I rode a sheath of rope on one of the Heart fixed lines for about 15-20 feet when the sheath separated while jugging. Even though that was a fixed line I made up my mind then that I would be using Unicore.
