Wish I could make it, I'll be in Patagonia. I was at the Cookie watching Jim do the FA of Catchy. He was a great guy!

Did a climb or two with Jim in 1970 in the Valley. Very nice guy. Were I not on the other side of the country, I'd come. RIP Jim.

I will be there.

He was one hullava a guy. As little as I knew him, I feel his loss more than I can explain. His presence was always uplifting.

Go in peace Jim.

We will see you this Sunday. Condolences to your family.... your dad was truly special, I still can't believe he is gone, but my memories of good times and laughter will always put a smile on my face.

See you Sunday,

Jim and Suzanne

Could the guy on the right be Jim Pettigrew?

Sorry, I'm old and my memory stinks, but there were many climbers hanging out in Camp 4, where I snapped this photograph, and there were many where I only had a casual relationship with. It was the year Henry Barber soloed the Steck/Salathe. He's on the left.

I'm sure some of you here can recognize the climber on the right.
