A friend and I are heading to the Red Rocks Nevada area in about a month for some climbing. We want to do a longer multi-pitch climb. She wants to do Sport but I usually trad so I don't know of any long bolted multi-ptch climbs around there. Anybody have any suggestions?

The Prince of Darkness, Black Velvet canyon.
This will get you 6 pitches up mostly on bolts. However this is no big wall.

Levitation 29, 5.11c, is a mix between bolted pitches and trad. It's 9 pitches long, so you can get some decent height.

You could do the Original Route on Rainbow Wall. As far as i remember itīs 5.9/A2(?). Besides that itīs completely doable itīs one HELL of a long hike. We had a try on it several years ago but bailed because of the cold and the fact that it was our first try on a wall ever. But if you like hiking with a heavy haul bag on your back...well go for it.

Yes, now here is a wall! I had the chance to jug this years back (a "friend" wanted to try to free the whole thing).

The approach could be worse, for what you need to carry for two days. Anyways, you can go pretty light.

Perfect ledge for three, half way up. Rap the route if the weather turns to sh#t. Faces north so be ready for cold. But damn...gorgeous...!
