You out there?

The other day I was in South Lake Tahoe and was talking to this guy Dave. Climbing came up in conversation, and he's like, "my son owns a gym up in Ashland..." A bell rings in my head I realize I'm talking to Lambone's dad. I said something to the effect of "oh yeah, I know him, well sorta... we're on the same internet forum... er, I mean, hmm. No, actually I don't know him, but I know OF him, and have read his ramblings" etc, etc, etc. How do you explain this?

Anyhow, your dad is a real nice guy and I enjoyed visiting with him for quite a while. He even brought out a bottle of Martinellis. Though I don't know you, I think you at least have good roots. You can quote me on that, and say hi to your dad while you're at it.

Cheers,
Jerry

hahahaha LOL Ouch that was funny.

Anyways, lambone, FYI widows tears is not ready yet. It's paper thin right now. It has to warm up a bit for the water to flow so that it can build up a bit thicker. It bloody cold right now.

Bone is nice most of the time, i could see him coming from a good seed. If you wanna get on his bad side though drink to much and show up late for climbing, just to walk to the base of the route to find a 4 person party on the first pitch. He can get pissed!! oops, whats up matt??
blake
Ps: that was the second time i screwed ours plans from drinking to much, he must be nice, he still climbs with me

Hey Jerry right on! Yeah, that's my Dad! He's awesome.

He loves potography, and he loves meeting new people talking about photography so managing the gallery is a good fit for him.

He's not so thrilled about climbing, but he respects what we do.

Some of Jon Pauls El Cap pics are sweet huh, like the vertical panarama of the WEML.

It's funny some of my climbing partners have ran into him in there too....unexpectedly.

That's cool, thanks man. My wife and I will be in Tahoe for the holiday on Friday.
merry christmas!

ps, blake you're a slacker! come train more punk.

I'll say it's a good fit for him. Jon is lucky to have him on board. I haven't seen the el cap pics. I'll have to check those out.
