Why is it that [edit: delete "jackasses" and insert "people"] like LEB and the other reactionary neocons and Republicans here have such self-centered tunnel vision?
A US delegation of legislators (half are Repubs) is just returning from Cuba. Why, LEB, don't you whine about that? And why don't you go find a community of your own, one with which you share common interests and knowledge? Even the Chinese are reporting on this story, but not you, LEB and others, because it doesn't lend itself to your [edit: delete "shrill] uninformed whining:

Now, LEB, maybe you can think clearly for a second and explain why it's OK for a Republican legislator to travel abroad as an emissary, but not a Democrat?

Ok, LEB, you win. I've deleted the derrogatory comments from my original post, above.
Besides, you've gotten worked over pretty good in the last 24 hours so I'll lighten up.
That, and the fact that so many others here are so much more eloquent than I. I'll leave the LEB-bashing to them.
So I'll go back to reporting the news. And asking: what's up with the Republicans going to Cuba anyway? I mean, they want the US to lighten up on Cuba and that whole repression thing? Are they turning pinko or what?
