Next time you buy a bag of weed, you might be supporting some evil gambler's bingo habit

http://abcnews.go.com/US/LegalCenter/wireStory?id=2693369&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312

"A grandmother found with a trunkful of marijuana was convicted of drug running in what prosecutors said was an attempt to earn cash for a bingo habit."

Not an isolated case. bingo strikes again today

http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/12/04/bingo.molester.ap/index.html

"A man who pleaded guilty to molesting two girls told a judge he did it because of his wife's excessive bingo playing."

A google search of "bingo" and "crime" returns 1,450,000 results.

You've heard that friends don't let friends climb slabs. The other threads prove why.

Let's add Bingo to the list of things we need to protect our community from

Peace

In other news 6 elderly women were led in handcuffs from a plane at Las Vegas' McCarren airport this afternoon. The suspects had been attending a Bingo tournament there. Suspicion was first raised as some in the group began to loudly call out random letter-number groups. Those seated nearby also heard some of the women comment about how much they detested "those young whippersnappers" and how they would "get whats comming to them". Passenger "Pauline" (names have been changed) first noticed the weapons these women brought on to the planes. "They looked alot like ping pong balls, except with a letter and a number on them" Pauline told a BSN correspondant "You know they could have thrown one of those things in the captains mouth and he might have choked!" Pauline has since learned that at least one of the women has ties to AARP. She is staying with friends as she is of course in fear for her life. Airport police and FBI agents detained the women for several hours and are testing cans of liquid Geritol found in one womans checked luggage for explosives. More updates as the story progresses.

The suspects carried "knitting" needles also. The Department of Homeland Insecurity wasn't impressed, particularly when they admitted they were knitting Afghans.

A 78 year old lady was tazered multiple times today by the Boca Raton police dept and is in criticle condition. Officer Dillon said it was
a routine traffic stop of her late model Buick LeSabre until
the crazed woman attacked 2 officers ,this is the 3rd time this
month a senior has done this, a tragic sign of the Bingo Dobber sniffing
epidemic hitting the streets of South Florida

After reading the above, I've decided "Bingo" should be a route name. Further, it should be reserved for a 5.10+ PG13 R/X.

Ya'll are making a mockery of the dark side of Bingo.

But hey, old people are the new gangsters. Ask these policemen:

http://www.commondreams.org/views06/1204-30.htm

On Nov. 21, the 88-year-old woman was shot dead by Atlanta undercover police officers who crashed through her door after dark to execute a "no-knock" search warrant for illegal drugs. Living in a high-crime neighborhood, apparently frightened out of her wits, she fired at the intruders with a rusty revolver, hitting all three. That's according to the police account, which says the officers then returned fire, striking Ms. Johnston in the chest and extremities.

There was some gook jokery going down on this thread, hope this isn't too serious a downer.

Peace
