Shut out at half time by more than 30 points and they win. Wish I'd seen it.

Interesting fact; the university was originally named Christian University of Northern Texas, but the co-eds refused to wear the sweatshirts.

The TCU quarterback decided he had nothing to lose. Senior transfer who had never started a game. The first half he was tentative, trying not to make a big mistake. Oregon shut him down completely.

The coach at halftime..

Patterson addressed the team at halftime. TCU is a proud program, Patterson preached, and the first half wasn't what this program is about. So decide to play. If you do, you've got a chance.

TCU showed up for the second half and Oregon's quarterback was injured.

Damn, and I thought we were going to be discussing the resurgence of interest in using TCUs... Hrmph!

Me too. I like TCUs. Perfect for a lot of horizontal pin scars in the Gunks.

TCU ended the quarterback quality problem just before halftime by knocking both Oregon's starting QB & starting center out of the game. Oregon's replacement QB merely looked inept in the 2nd half, but the new center had a real problem with getting the ball to him.

Why I love ST, lots of interesting and fun filled facts. Such as, quote:
"Interesting fact; the university was originally named Christian University of Northern Texas, but the co-eds refused to wear the sweatshirts. "

Haha good stuff, I've been noticing that folks here tend to just spew opinions and not read others stuff. This reaffirms that thought. But I read it, thanks for cracking me up.

I've still got a double set on my rack. Can't justify buying new mini quads until these wear out. :)
