Just curious, would he be known in the climbing community? Is his going missing possibly related to climbing? That could help narrow down the possibilities.

I'm assuming his new Range Rover doesn't have LoJac or some similar tracking device? It's pretty hard to get a new car without something like that. I had to get the dealer to remove the one in my Tacoma before I'd agree to buy it and that was in 2010. Cell phone location turned off?

All law enforcement agencies alerted to watch for the vehicle?

I hope he turns up okay.

Eric is not a climber, but I know lots of folks live in the So Cal Area. He also works in Vancouver BC one week a month but flys in there.

Law enforcement is slow to move, primarily because of his age. I understand some people disappear by choice. Not really Eric's type thing. He is involved in work with high profile Hollywood movies with tight deadlines and pressures, He was a film student of mine. I have known him since he was 16, He is not the kind of guy who drops his responsibilities.
