After Sandy Hook Ct, there was a real effort to try to make some changes, then and going forward nothing but the repueblickers blather
about 2nd amendment and wrong minded understanding of a problem that may have no solution.
shooting at things is fun and video games desensitize peoples already dis associated empathy.

We had to fight the realestate shmoe who would not tell us what the heck was the reason for all the Gun Fire that we could hear off in the distance,
from the back deck of a house that we did bid on.
Then when the games began:
"oh . didn't we say - we have to do sealed bids; there is other interest"
- I picked up my check and the contract-
tore up the signature page put the scraps in my pocket
and,
not waiting to hear the pin drop, walked out
thank heavens or it could have been my kids dismembered by gun shots. . .

The Sheriff said it is not a gun issue. Maybe not; we are relieved those students did not acquire firearms. Its too bad we can't talk about this. Maybe we could come up with a way to get involved that would make things better.
