Knowing what you intend to use the map for might be useful.
In a climbing guide Cosmics "C" choice might be interesting.
In the field "A" is overall the best option IMO.
If you have no idea how to actually read a topo map, then "B" might be just right.
I can read a map, so "A" for me.
