Just saw them in Texas a few weeks back. Sat on the roof of my
truck watching them buzz the crowd assembled along the road.
I love when they do that missing man formation, and you get totally
fixated on the group rocketing straight up until they finally get
lost in the sun. Then, all of a sudden without warning, the
missing jet comes out of nowhere from behind you and streaks
right overhead at about 150 feet off the deck and 500 miles
and hour and makes everyone piss themselves. Wow! I get chills everytime!

Two weeks ago I was driving across the golden gate bridge at about four thirty heading to a hotel room by the Airport. Right when I was at the first tower they came in from the ocean over the san fran end of the bridge at about 500 feet. They were there for the A's game on a friday. Quite a sight. Might have been the Blue Angels....

I once saw an SR-71 do a fly-by at Travis, too cool.
I've not been to Edwards in 20 years, I did see the space shuttle there.

i'm never really impressed at the blatant (mis)spending of tax dollars...according to the "fighter pilot", "that turn" just cost US over $9,000.00
call me a fiscal conservative...eep
