I was always a Beatles fan, Jennie is a huge Stones fan.
Last week, 50 years, June 6 1965, "I Can't Get No Satisfaction".
Sort of like me and the…, but I won't mention names, I am already in trouble with the mandarins in the health, uhhh, field, I can't say service, can I?
If I had the money, I would pay Mick Jagger (who has the money) to visit Jennie.
EDIT
She would be over the moon. Imagine, a teenage girl growing up in Ireland with Mick Jagger strutting is stuff.

i wanna move people,
coming undone without
grace or shame.
shitting myself for show.
i'm building me a bank
of somethings today,
from which someday
i will cash out,
sell out,
yell out,
and then
die off in
a grand ol'
display.

I never saw Jimi either. I think we were14 when he died.
But, for a more Bay Area oriented cover;

I did see these guys play satisfaction, ( the Stones too,of course). I wonder how many souls in this recording were cut down before their time, I only count two. Brent even died in Lafayette....

Yeah, we were 14, you and I, when Hendrix took his guitar to the sky.
In London, circa 1989, I had bought a bootleg album of his, where he was playing his jazz, along with Lonnie Youngblood. It cost me £100. I do not know where it is, I have lost so much over the years moving around, people steal thngs off of moving vans (like my clarinet), things get lost, I must be careless.
My cousins, the Coolens (some talented musicians in that family), grew up doors aways from Jimi, and used to play stickball and other street games with him.
They tell me at 14, he was one of the best musicians in Seattle. So they tell me, and why doubt it?
As for the Stones. I lived and worked in Dartford (sub-editor, PASS Magazine) for some two years.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are from Dartford. But of course, I never met them.
If Jagger could visit Jennie, it would make her life, sort of. Seeing her and her seeing me, that could make her life. And mine. I miss her. There is always hope, 64 is too young to be stuck in a nursing home.
I wonder, I should have the wherewithal, to get Jagger to visit her. Gosh she would be ecstatic, a teenager growing up in Dublin when Jagger was just beginning to move his hips.

Jennie partied with Jagger in London a couple of times (just partied, I think, I hope), when she lived there. He will not remember her though. He should though, because she is as gorgeous as any women he has been with.
