hello,

I am a guy (31) from Belgium and i am coming to the valley for 1 month.

I know a guy in Tahoe and we are planning on climbing together. But he has to work and
thats why i am looking for partners.

Lead trad at 5.11a/b. I have a lot of experience in long multi-pitch routes, and can aid a bit.
I am pretty good with rope techniques (hauling and stuf).

I will train for the trip in the coming months, and do some aid routes in Norway.

I am interested in free and aid climbing, area doesn't matter (Yosemite, Tuolumne, Tahoe, High Sierras).

Got al the gear, and can borrow portaledge and haulbags from my friend.

It's good to line up some partners ahead of time, but you can also almost always find partners in the Valley through the bulletin board on the Camp 4 Kiosk.

hi,

i know i probably wil find people in camp4.
but with the 7 night rule it can be hard to stay there long without a partner.

i found this on the NPS site.
There is a 30-night camping limit within Yosemite National Park in a calendar year; however, May 1 - September 15, the camping limit in Yosemite is 14 nights, and only seven of those nights can be in Yosemite Valley or Wawona

You got it....the most restrictive camping of any climbing venue in America.

You might want to consider a trip to Indian Creek, Desert Towers and the Black Canyon next time. Everthing from unique sandstone cracks to stellar multi pitch in beautiful, uncrowded settings and unrestricted camping....much of it free.

There is also the sierra backcountry. Are you renting a car or relying on public transport.
