Have this older Yosemite guide book. Trade for some gear? Also have an older J-tree guide I don't really use.

1987. It's a good one, as it includes both the free and aid climbs.

Hey Marty, looks like your library book is overdue!

I once checked out the original Master of Rock.
Foolishly, I returned it.

The '87 Meyer's Reid was my first guidebook for Yosemite, given to me by my mom in the late 90s. It was her way of making peace with the fact that I like to climb, to do something that she thought was too dangerous. Many of my fondest memories were inspired by the sparse line drawings in that book. Hawkman's Escape gets its own page. Many more dreams to be fulfilled in the future from there.

Its also a good reference for climbs in the Yos Falls amphitheater that don't show up in later guidebooks.
