yes, but the billions of other climbers around the world secretly support what they are doing and send money to support their cause. Just look at John Longs "Trad Climbers Bible" and all the nefarious tactics he describes. Its a dangerous religion and should be shut down. Next thing you know there will be plastic climbing gyms all around the world and they will expect us to live by Dirtbag law. All over a fairly tale of someone free climbing the Dawn Wall. Its a friggen fairly tale I tell you.

I predict -
Dick Cheney will be Fox News first thing Monday morning warning us this would happen because we didn't allow the CIA to target Tommy Caldwell in 2004.
John McCain will be on CNN demanding drone strikes and denouncing the indecisive Presidency for allowing yet another desecration of America's heritage.
Chris Christie will show up at the bridge and hug Tom Evans after confusing him for the owner of some NFL team.
Clif Bar will deny any of this happened and quietly drop their sponsorship of any person who mentions the word "rock".
and lastly...
Delaware North will sue all parties involved in this endeavor for their unauthorized use of the names "El Cap, El Capitan, Dawn Wall, Yosemite and Werner Braun".
