Great graphic. Helps give some scale to the undertaking for those who haven't stood under El Cap.

I can imagine 5-10 years down the road people having electronic guidebooks like this.

This is the next step after the Pellucid Wombat style trip reports. I would like to have a map of all of El Cap like this with zoom capabilities... what a drug to dream up new lines and pour over what has already been done.

For any nerds out there, it is possible to edit the javascript on that page to move the camera around that El Cap model.
Open up the debugger console, type the following into the console, and hit return:
sectionData[0].camera=[2,4.8,-2.5];sectionData[0].target=[2,4.8,-1];sectionData[1].camera=[2,4.8,-2.5];sectionData[1].target=[2,0,-1];
...then scroll up to the top. Now the camera is positioned at the great roof, where there's a party visible at the belay. Scroll down, and it'll look down to the base of the Nose.
...Yes, I was up far too late last night playing with this awesome page.

That is cool. No sleep tonight.
If you were really a nerd you'd have an APP out by now :-)
