Hi,

I'm a solid 5.10 trad climber, mostly used to the Alpine granite with a few trips to North America (smith rock and squamish).

I'll be available to climb Septh 12th and 13th and would love to do a nice long route anywhere from 5.8 to 5.11-, depending on the partner.

Reply here or at pyr (at) spootnik (dot) org

Cheers,
Pierre-Yves.

I'd avoid Yosemite Valley and head up high to the cooler weather of Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. Hang around the store and you'll find someone.
The Regular Route on Fairview Dome would be a good one for you, then maybe the Third Pillar of Mt. Dana.

Good suggestions from crankster, though the Valley would probably be fine about now. The Needles are awesome of course but you need to show up with a partner, and getting there involves a little more legwork. Good luck. I hope you find someone to climb with.

If you go to the Meadows OZ and the Harding Route on Conness are two great 5.10's but, by all means, don't linger there...the real stuff is in the Valley.
The quintessential 5.10 in the Valley is the Steck Salathe.....make sure you work up to it.
