I know its going to be balls hot but I have to take someone to the airport so id already be close. Any suggestions? Chase the shade? Tahquitz any good right now? Anyone want to climb or mountain bike down there next thursday and friday?

Pretty much Tahquitz season right now although it can be hot too

I prefer my balls to be cool, thank you. I know people who do it though...they chase the shade all day long.

Best practice is getting out early in the morning, climbing on the west or north sides. Get your siesta on during the heat of the day, then back out in the afternoon to hit the east and north aspects. Mostly doable, but if the temps get near or over 100 and no breeze, enjoyment is limited.

I get out often on summer mornings with some local friends. You would be welcome to join us. We usually start at 7:00 and climb till 10:00 or 11:00. Most mornings are quite comfortable in the shade. Feel free to pm me if you're interested.
