Does anyone else have a K-9 friend that is a relentless anal glad releaser? My female dog is brutal to the point I even have had to resort to taking matters into my own hands for her 1-2 times a month. Still she persists with the nasty ass juice more than a few times a week.

Is this normal. Everything stinks like dead fish.

Posted stuck in the car with my dogs in a parking lot!

Cook up a bunch of mashed pumpkin and put them in the freezer. Give your dog ~1/2 cup cooked oatmeal and 1/2 cup pumpkin about once or twice a month. Should clear things up.

You can have surgery to remove them altogether. usually this is done when they become impacted too often but you might ask your vet about it.

Really Me?

As it is she eats one meal a day of Accana Duck and lamb and then one full on vegan feast as I give her a rather large portion of my dinner every night. Keeps me skinny;)

Is there something about the sweet potato and oatmeal that dies the trick?

It's bad like I gotta wash the cover to her dog bed almost daily!

I know I am kinda vulgar or at least the topic is kinda nasty but I figured this place must have a few dog lovers.

Me and Jan this is exactly the kinda into I was looking to stir up. I hate to operate though :(

Our pit got bouts of the nasty metallicass ooze about once a month. The oatmeal pumpkin (at the suggestion of a vet friend) cleared it up every time. Now we give it to here ~ once a month and haven't had a problem since.

edit: the boss says it is pumkin, not sweet pot

You might want to consider something like this for an avatar and name theme.

Hope you heal up well and soon.
