I have been impressed with Rhondas arm bar but i just watched Cyborg fight the world champion kickboxer and their punches had no snap. It was obvious that under MMA rules that Cyborg would have easily manhandld a win but what i found to be quite boreing was the striking. The kicks had snap but the punches were weak. no snap. More push than punch.

Rhousey is a frikkan train wreck, but ya just can't help but watch it anyway. She's going to be the lead in one a movie they will be making of Brad Thors worst book, and the thing is, she'd be perfect for the part.

Lycra-clad chicks beating the crap out of each other. How cool is that? It could only be cooler if they could use garden implements, sewing tools and kitchen devices hanging on the sides of the cage, and the chicks were hanging from bungees, Thunderdome-style.

And I thought MMA was brutal enough with the men. Something about the ladies beating the sh#t out of each other is completely unappealing for me to watch.

I wish i knew how to place a real bet on that one as I had it figured out. I had watched the 2008 olympic bout that rhonda lost and then read a bit about Holm. she started kickboxking at 11yrs old so all the hype that she was just a boxer was hogwash. then i saw the two standing side by side at the weigh in and it struck me that Holm was the same build as the dutch girl who steamrolled Rhonda at the Olympics. I watched a few Rhonda fights and she is easy to hit. She has the brawlers mentality to strikeing. I added it all up and came to the conclusion that Holly must have worked the heck out of take down defence since she started MMA, she has over 50 fights, She is a big tall strong girl just like the Dutch woman, she is a flawless technician. Rowdy is getting beat.
now if only i had known how to put some real money on that........
