Hi after a some reflection i finally decided to visit Canmore in order to do some skiing and ice climbing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. (Thanks to the answers in the "Getting out of Europe" thread ) I plan on coming in mid January/February for a longer time (2-3 month). I now need a place to spend the nights. I am considering almost everything, from sharing a place up to buying an old van and sleeping in the back of it. So if anyone is looking for a ice climbing or ski touring partner or just a flatmate please let me know. I am also open to any othe suggestions where to sleep for a longer time.
Every help is greatly appreciated
Thanks a lot

Will Gadd sometimes lets people sleep in his basement.
Bump into Will whilst you're the only two outside on a snotty-day and there's the chance he may dig your spirit and welcome you in.
Others sleep in their car and use the climbing gym for showers. Such winter staunchness can earns you cred abouts town. If buying a van, consider if getting it in the US is feasible - Canadians (are great) though have historically tended to salt-the-f-out of their roads which makes beat-up vans particularly prone to corrosion.
Keep warm but stay cool.

This place is right in town and is/was owned by Hans Peter, the super nice Swiss ski/climbing guide who lives in town. A great contact for backcountry beta too.
They're also listed on Expedia.
