Hi I'll be coming from Melbourne, Australia to San Francisco, and then Los Angeles for a few weeks in November.

I climb up to around 5.12a and I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of finding people and places to climb at during this time?

Hey, I don't know what kind of a Forum you think this is, but we're generally not in the business of helping people find other people to climb on!

For right in town in SF, The Planet Granite gym uses the website Climbfind to connect partners for gym days.

HC... when you get close and are in LA, go to Stoney Point. Tuesdays and Thursdays after work is when you can find some weekenders who go climbing.

Or slide out to Malibux Creek State Park.... almost always has folks who will let you tie in.

sport, trad, whatever?

shorter days suggest shorter routes

cooler days suggest lower venues...

more information on what you're looking for would help

Thanks for your replies so far.

I'm mainly looking for (single pitch) sport climbing, and any pointers to help me get the lay of the land, and on where to find more information or people to climb with would be appreciated.
