last friday went to hawk dome, it was a beautiful day, and we had the place to ourselfs once again, with awesome routes up to 3 pitchs long, and amazing rock on one for the best crags in the southern yosemite area, back in 2007 a couple friends of mine put up a couple routes to the far right of hawk dome, went to check it out, both of them are bolted climbs, got on the one to the far right,chicken slaughter,5.11a, great route with tricky steep slab moves, and getting to the second bolt a little scetchy, the other one, bird flu,5.10d is a super long climb, and even with a 70m cord you can't lower off with one rope, fun climb with slab moves at the start to a steep head wall at the end, super fun day of climbing at one of the mellowest crags around, happy climbing mike a.

Mike,
thanks for the added info on Fresno. here is an other question:
We went on an explore trip around the Sierra Vista Byway and saw some incredible lines on a dome along with some other domes along the road , past globe rock near Jackass Meadow ( I think the place was called Portuguese lookout???)
Anyways, any info on potential climbs in that area?

nice. i've seen many of your photos and always good to see the crags. may i ask "what's with the stereotypical parade wave?"
