Picked up two of them in boxes with single loop slings and spare handle wedges. If not made by BD they are at least copies of the Yosemite hammer. Weight is exactly the same a the BD but the finish is rougher. The head is set in epoxy or something like that, the handle is oiled and the wedge is the round type.

I have a hammer that looks just like it - alway figured it was BD with markings worn off.

You posted the box label so I typed in the number on Google and here you go:

Yes, I have one. It's a BD knock-off. I can't remember the name of the company I purchased it from right off the top of my head (this was many years ago). But I remember the ads for the supplier in Climbing magazine... was a picture of a cartoon black bird. Anyone remember the name of that company?

Somewhere out of North Carolina? Had a website called killerdeals?
Forget the name, too, and couldn't find it any of my old mags.

edit: nice find, that's the place!

It looks like there are 18 of them included in this auction but you have to buy a truckload of stuff in Oklahoma to get them. Item #32
