I wouldn't think an old Silent Partner would be any problem. PM eKat, she helped design them.

Most people use them a half dozen times, realize they are a mostly a PITA and stick them in the closet. "Used" ones typically haven't seen much actual use. (Some people do dig them though, Norwegian uses his all the time)

I've got one sitting in my gear closet that has maybe 6 pitches on it total, basically pristine condition. Most of my solo climbing is minitraxing fixed lines on free routes, so I don't need it.

What's your budget? If you really want one, we can probably work something out and you won't be gambling on the condition of an unknown used one. I'm not a poor guy anymore, so I can flex on price and more than willing to hook you up a good deal if it means you'll get out there and use it.

Contact via the pm email linked to my username if you want it.
