Here is some more.
The topo of the Flake pitch with pitons placements marked.
Leonard, Eichorn, and Robinson climbed the Spire on 8/25/34 on their third attempt. At the same time Herbert B. Blanks, Elliot Sawyer, and Boynton S. Kaiser did the 2nd ascent of Higher Spire and this is a photo that they took.

Really cool stuff Ken thanks again for sharing.
I love the part where they prove that pitons can protect the leader, thats cool.
